MB Perlis eight hours recorded testimony
SHAH ALAM – Perlis Menteri Besar Mohd Shukri Ramli was released on bail by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) after eight hours of recorded evidence on Tuesday.
According to sources, Mohd Shukri was arrested at 11am when he appeared to have his conversation recorded at the MACC Putrajaya Headquarters.
However, after eight hours, he was later released on MACC bail.
Mohd Shukri’s arrest before that was carried out for investigation under Section 23 of the MACC Act 2009.
An investigation is being conducted regarding the issue of misuse of power involving the implementation of infrastructure development projects including repair, maintenance, supply and services throughout Perlis since 2022.
MACC Chief Commissioner, Tan Sri Azam Baki when contacted confirmed the matter.
