Former Barys head coach Mikhail Panin spoke about a possible return to the Astana club.
“I met with the Kazakh hockey leadership at a national team tournament in St. Petersburg. They invited me to the box. Purely interest in human relationships. There was no specific job offer. There were only superficial conversations. But no invitations yet. Although I have a positive attitude towards working in Astana,” Legalbet.kz quotes Panin as saying.
Panin, 63, worked at Barys in 2007 and 2008.
