Palmer voted player of the month

Chelsea’s Cole Palmer has been voted the Premier League’s player of the month for April – the last Chelsea player to receive the award was Eden Hazard in 2018.

Palmer scored seven goals in four league appearances in April and the 22-year-old has more assists than any other player at Chelsea this season.

In total, the former Manchester City academy player, who moved to Chelsea in the summer in a £42.5m deal, has 30 goal involvements in the league this season.
